Abraham Lincoln Marovitz Scholarship Fund
for ASBI Members & Families
The Abraham Lincoln Marovitz Fund is available to ASBI full members in good standing for financial assistance towards Jewish day school, beginning with first grade. Awards are based on financial need and on the recommendations of both the Marovitz Committee and FACTS Management. Please note that the Marovitz Fund is a fund of last resort; applicants are required to seek funds from all other sources before being considered for Marovitz Fund support.
Please direct any and all questions to the Fund Administrator Hayley Leventhal via email at marovitz@asbi.org. All Marovitz inquiries and application materials will be kept completely private and will not be shared with any other synagogue staff or leadership.

2024 Abraham Lincoln Marovitz Scholarship Check List
Your application must be completed by 5:00 PM on Friday, June 7, 2024.
All of the steps below (Application, Tax forms, FACTS updates) must be submitted before the deadline for your application to be accepted.
Steps for Application Process:
1. COMPLETE THE MAROVITZ APPLICATION BELOW
2. ADD MAROVITZ TO YOUR FACTS ACCOUNT
Create a FACTS account or log into your existing FACTS account and add Marovitz as an institution allowed to view your application: click here to access FACTS.
Bernard Zell Anshe Emet Day School Applicants ONLY must pay a $35 registration fee to FACTS and fill out the FACTS scholarship application. BZAEDS applicants can use their existing FACTS account to do this.
3. UPLOAD YOUR 2023 TAX FORMS TO YOUR FACTS ACCOUNT AND COMPLETE THE FACTS MAROVITZ APPLICATION.
4. EMAIL YOUR 2023 TAX RETURNS & SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS TO MAROVITZ@ASBI.ORG
Your 2023 taxes MUST have already been filed before you submit your Marovitz application; applications without a completed 2023 tax return CANNOT be accepted. The forms that you must send to marovitz@asbi.org as part of your application include: your full, unedited 2023 federal & state tax returns, with proof of filing, AND your W-2(s), as well as any 1099 and/or 1040 forms if applicable.
When all of your materials (application, tax forms, FACTS updates) have been completed and sent in, you will receive a confirmation email that your application is complete. If you have not received confirmation of your application before the deadline, please contact Hayley at marovitz@asbi.org.
