Firstborn children are invited to attend a siyum commemorating the completion of a talmudic tractate immediately following Shacharit. The siyum substitutes for a day of fasting that commemorates God’s saving of the Israelite first-born children when the Egyptian first-born were killed in the tenth plague.

Shacharit and the siyum can be attended in-person at ASBI by reservation (click here to sign up) or you can join the broadcast on Zoom.

Shacharit this Thursday, March 25 will begin at 7:00 AM with Yishtabach, followed by the siyum, no later than approximately 7:45 AM.
