Milt’s Dinner with Eli Beer at ASBI
Friday, November 11, 2016 • 10 Cheshvan 5777
5:45 PM - 7:45 PMASBIJoin Eli Beer at ASBI for a dinner catered by Milt's on November 11.
Eli Beer, a veteran medic and the Founder and President of United Hatzalah, is transforming the delivery of emergency medical response in Israel and around the world. By pioneering new GPS technologies, innovative equipment, and more, United Hatzalah has dramatically reduced response times to those in need – from 10-12 minutes to just 3 minutes or less, saving lives.
Eli was born in Israel, where he witnessed his first terror attack at the age of seven. This traumatic experience, coupled with his desire to help save people, encouraged him to become a volunteer medic. With 25 years of life-saving experience, he has responded to civil, wartime, and terror-related incidents. Beer has been a featured speaker at TEDMED and the AIPAC 2015 National Conference and was the recipient of the 2010 Social Entrepreneur for Israel Awards from the Schwab Foundation, the 2011 Presidential Award for Volunteerism in Israel, and the 2016 Humanitarian Values Award.
