Shabbat November 1: Post-Kiddush Shiur, 11:45 AM
“Scandal! Was Avraham Actually Jewish?”

Avraham is considered the father of the Jewish faith. But an examination of the Talmudic, halachic and midrashic literature reveals a complicated picture. The question of Avraham’s Jewishness has timely implications for Judaism, peoplehood and our relationships to non Jews.

Sunday, November 2: Post-Shacharit Shiur, 9:15 AM

Rabbi Isaac Landes is the Director of Yashrut’s Classic Talmud Program (CTP). He grew up in Jerusalem where he currently lives with his wife and two children. R’ Isaac studied in Yeshivat Har Etzion’s Hesder program, and Beit Midrash Havruta on Mt. Scopus, and earned Semikhah from Yashrut in 2019.
