Identifying Signs & Supporting Children during Stressful Times

Monday, June 29, 2020 7 Tammuz 5780

8:00 PM - 9:00 PM

This summer, ASBI is launching a series of Zoom events focused on mental health, led by professionals in our community. Join us for our first session with Amy Pappas, LCSW, on June 29th.

This Zoom meeting will be an interactive discussion aimed to help parents (and other people in children’s lives) learn more about what stress can look like in children and how to help them manage their stress. While this is focused on school-aged children, the concepts are universal and people of all ages are invited!

Amy Pappas is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and has been working with children, teenagers, and families for all of her career. She has worked in multiple school settings including Hillel Torah Day School, Solomon Schechter Day School, and Rochelle Zell Day School. She has also worked at Children's Memorial Hospital (not Lurie) and Rush Therapeutic Day School. Currently, she has a private practice in Lakeview where she works with children, adolescents, and families. To learn more about Amy, you can visit her website at amypappaslcsw.com
