Hosted by SHALVA, we’ll discuss domestic abuse through the lens of the holiday of Sukkot. We’ll learn about what abuse looks like behind what may appear to be a strong, safe home, including how to help those inside, and how COVID-19 has affected SHALVA’s clients. SHALVA is Chicago area’s agency serving Jewish women experiencing and healing from domestic abuse. This is a joint program with ASBI, The Chicago Loop Synagogue, and Beth Hillel Bnai Emunah of Wilmette.
