Rabbanit Shlomit Flint was born and raised in Jerusalem. She is a graduate of the Scholars Program at Midreshet Lindenbaum and Midreshet Matan Jerusalem. She also received semicha from the Halacha Kollel for Women of Midreshet Ein Hanatziv and Yeshivat Ma'ale Gilboa. Rabbanit Flint teaches at Midreshet Amit Be'er (in Yeruham and Ashdod), a post-high school seminary program for young women before their army or national service.

She lives with her husband Shmulik and their five children in the city of Yeruham in the Negev.
