Dear Parents,

After a successful year of youth babysitting and programming for the High Holidays in 2015, I am pleased to announce the unveiling of Camp Shana Tova. Our youngest campers (ages 1-2) will be in babysitting starting at 9:00 and going until 1:00 (until 2:00 on Yom Kippur). There will be a Tot Family Service led by Tamar Cytryn in a room different from the babysitting room - parents will need to pick up their camper(s) from babysitting and bring them to the Tot Service. Otherwise, campers will be supervised by their counselors in babysitting. There will be babysitting offered from 5:45-8:15 during Kol Nidrei and again from 5:00-7:00 during Neilah.

For our campers in Gan (ages 3-JK), Yeladeinu (grades K-2), and Na’areinu (grades 3-5), we will have 4 rotations of 45 minutes each, from 10 AM to 1 PM (10-2 on Yom Kippur morning). These rotations will include youth services with shofar, High Holiday yoga, High Holiday-themed Gym Experiences, and special programming such as a Rosh Hashanah Seder. There will be a counselor with the campers at all times and there will be a second specialist running each rotation. There will also be camp from 6:00-8:15 during Kol Nidrei.

For our campers in middle and high school there will be a youth lounge with board games and snacks and limited supervision.

For campers of all ages, there will be Rosh Hashanah-themed snacks halfway through the morning as well as a lunch provided in the last rotation.

This programming is 75% subsidized by the shul, and we are asking for $25 per child per holiday (so, $25 for Rosh Hashanah and $25 for Yom Kippur). If this is a financial hardship, please let me know as we do not want cost to be a problem for anybody.

Please complete this form for children 12 months through 5th grade who are participating in High Holiday programming or babysitting. Babysitting is available for children ages 1-5 only. The cost is $25 per child participating in babysitting or programming on Rosh Hashanah and $25 per child participating in babysitting or programming on Yom Kippur.

Please note: Tot Rosh Hashanah and Tot Yom Kippur will be available for children ages 3 and under from 10:45-11:30 on October 3, 4, and 12. Tot Shabbat is free of charge and does not require registration, however all children participating MUST be accompanied by an adult. If children ages 1 - 2 will be in babysitting when they are not participating in Tot Shabbat, they must be registered for babysitting.
