We look forward to meeting with empty nesters and parents of teens and young adult children who no longer have grade school children at home.  We recognize that parents and guardians of older children may have a different sense of connection to shul and are driven to attend services for different reasons than parents and guardians of young children. In conversation with Cortney Stark Cope and Rabbi Finkelstein, we will discuss questions like: How can we continue to feel connected to ASBI even as our children attend less often? How does our relationship with the shul evolve without having young children in tow? What kinds of engagement in and out of shul would help strengthen our connection to the community?
