EMAIL LIST
ASBI has set up an e-mail distribution list for Anshe Sholom at yahoogroups.com. This will give us an easy and efficient way to send news and announcements to the whole shul via e-mail.
Yahoogroups also has several other benefits:
- members can subscribe and unsubscribe themselves at any time
- the list is moderated, so only "official" messages will be sent from those people designated as moderators
- there is also message archive, calendar, file sharing, polling, and chat options we might want to take advantage of
To unsubscribe, send a blank e-mail to asbi-unsubscribe@yahoogroups.com.
To subscribe under an additional address, send a blank e-mail from that account to asbi-subscribe@yahoogroups.com. Subcribe under as many accounts as you'd like!
You may also maintain your subscription (for example, set it to No Mail/Web only or Daily Digest) by going to http://groups.yahoo.com/group/asbi. You will need to have a Yahoo account (or get one from the site - for free) in order to maintain your subscriptions.
To send a message to the whole list, address it to asbi@yahoogroups.com. Messages must be approved by the moderator before they are distributed to the list. |
