Study Talmud Tractate Brachot with the commentaries of the Rishonim. This class assumes some familiarity with Talmud, and will give you the opportunity to explore the Rabbinic debates with later interpretations. If you are not sure whether or not you’re “advanced” enough, give it a try!

Jewish Family Life: Living a Modern Orthodox Lifestyle With Kids in the City

Come discuss ways to integrate Kashrut, Shabbat, and Taharat Hamishpacha into your life. A basic overview of each topic will be given at the beginning of each session followed by a facilitated discussion about how to incorporate this into our lives. Rabbi Asher Lopatin will attend in his role as “Abba” for the Shabbat session, to share ideas. Come with questions and suggestions.
