High Holiday Mikvah Hours

The Adam R. Straus Memorial Mikvah will be open to men on Erev Yom Kippur, Friday October 7, for one hour before Mincha (2:30-3:30 PM) and one hour afterwards (4:00-5:00 PM). The fee for Mikvah use is $22, and men are requested to bring their own towel because of the high volume of users. Women who would like to immerse before the holidays are requested to use the regularly scheduled women’s hours in the evenings. Summer:

• Sunday-Thursday: 20 minutes after candle lighting time for that week, until 10:00 PM
• Motzei Shabbat/Motzei Yom Tov: 1 hour & 30 minutes after candle lighting for that week, until 11:00 PM 
  

Winter: (Winter hours begin with Daylight Savings Time)

• Sunday-Thursday: 6:00 PM- 9:00 PM 
• Motzei Shabbat/Motzei Yom Tov: 1 hour & 30 minutes after candle lighting for that week, until 9:00 PM 
• Friday night & Yom Tov appointment times will be discussed when you call for your appointment. Please call as early in the week as possible.

Please note: Even though the Mikvah might open earlier, the kosher immersion time is not until 50 minutes after candle lighting for that week.
