Halacha of the Week #12

When you wash your hands for bread, it is best to say the bracha after you have completed the washing, but before your hands are dry, so that you are still involved in the Mitzvah while you are reciting the bracha. If you have already finished drying your hands, you may still recite the bracha afterwards, as long as you haven't yet made HaMotzi.

This series gives brief practical tips about Halachic issues that arise in daily life.
