Halacha of the Week #54

If you walk into the sanctuary and realize that the community is in the midst of saying Kedusha (toward the beginning of the repetition of the Amidah) stop walking, even if you didn't get get a siddur, and stand in that spot with your feet together, as you always would for Kedusha. Stay there for the remainder of Kedusha, until the Chazzan has finished the bracha of "Ha'kel Hakadosh" (or at least until the end of the line "Yimloch") and then finish walking to your seat. This is due to the unique sanctity of Kedusha.
